What KCFR is, and what it is not
The brief: civic, calm, direct. This page makes the framing explicit so you read the registry's results correctly.

KCFR is a registry, not a verdict
Every record on this site is a report — user-submitted, written by the person who lost money or believed they were about to. Some are corroborated; some are not. A record on KCFR is a starting point for due diligence, not a court finding.
Tiers, briefly
- Verified. A moderator has reviewed multiple reports citing the cluster and is satisfied they describe a single operator. Identifier values are shown in full.
- Unverified. One or more reports name the identifier, but no moderator has yet corroborated them. Treat with caution. Identifier values are partially redacted.
- No reports found. We have no record of the identifier you searched. This is not a safety claim. The absence of a report does not mean the identifier is safe.
Investment advice
Nothing on this site is financial advice. We do not recommend or evaluate cryptocurrency products, exchanges, traders, or projects. We document reports of fraud — that is all.
If you are listed
Anyone whose identifier appears in a published report can file an appeal via Right to reply. We correct mistakes; we do not refuse to look.
Authority handoff
Investigators and CERT teams with active cases that overlap with our records can request a structured export — see For investigators.
Voice and tone
We avoid alarmist language. The content is alarming enough; the chrome should not be. Reports are written by victims; we publish them faithfully (subject to redaction policy) without dramatising or moralising.
